Ryan Crouser’s broken foot put a damper on Barlow’s boys track and field season, but it didn’t destroy it.

The Bruins still managed to finish second at the OSAA Class 6A track meet and Crouser’s performance before the injury helped Barlow qualify for the inaugural Nike Track Nationals meet Friday evening at Hayward Field. The meet features 12 of the top boys and girls teams from around the nation competing against each other in 10 events.
