Field event sweep fuels Chandler crew; Vista Murrieta relies on sprints, jumps 

At some point Friday evening at the inaugural Nike Track Nationals, Vista Murrieta (Murrieta, Calif.) coach Coley Candaele lost track of his team’s standing in the competition.  The man helming the top-ranked boys team in the meet at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon was diligently prepared, but eventually the swirl of concurrent events and decathlon-style scoring became too much.  DAVE DEVINE MEET STORY
